WagnerTreesWagner’s focus has been the naturally regenerating forests of eastern North America. These forests are a mixture of hardwood and softwood trees encompassing an amazing diversity of species, which are well suited to long-term management for value growth. In many cases, the trees harvested today are the fourth or fifth generation harvested from the land. Red spruce, black spruce, balsam fir, white pine, jack pine, sugar maple, red maple, yellow birch, white birch, aspen, red oak and several other commercially valuable species thrive on Wagner land.  In addition, many other plant and animal species call these forests home.

Caring for both the environment and the investment requires the informed application of sustainable forest management principles.

Third-party certifications play a vital role in demonstrating Wagner’s excellent stewardship. Employees take pride in pursuing the explicit goal of continuous improvement, which is one of the fundamental elements of each certification program.
